How to Cook Sweet Potatoes in Under 10 Minutes

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know three things:

Thanks to my friend Laura Hames Franklin and her “Superhuman Breakfast“, I’ve been swapping my sprouted toast for tiny cubes of sweet potato.  And I highly recommend it — I find that I’m satisfied, energized, and mentally focused well into lunch time with this recent switch up.

Only problem? Sweet potatoes can take a long time to cook.

Unlessyou know how to cut them.

So here’s my wee tutorial on how to efficiently cut sweet potatoes into tiny cubes so you can steam or roast them in under 10 minutes.

They even make great croutons.

Asparagus Recipe Formula: A Side Dish That Helps You De-Bloat

A few months ago I co-hosted a Beauty Bites party with my pal Monique from Goddess Huntress. We rustled up an exquisite grapefruit vodka cocktail, a homemade olive oil skin toner, and a tasty meal full of superfoods that promote a sparkly complexion. The main ingredient? Asparagus. Turns out these suckers are anti-aging powerhouses —… Continue Reading

But then, a few years ago I attempted to make a vinaigrette for dinner guests and I wanted to slap… Continue Reading

White Bean Dip…Dressing?

When I’m asked to “bring an appetizer” to a party but I’m feeling lazy, my go-to is this tasty Lemony White Bean dip. But these “treats” lead to a case of the crankies and leave me feeling even… Continue Reading

Oh These Nuts?

Oh These Nuts?

I LOVE toasted hazelnuts (and stuff they come in, like Nutella) – they’re an amazing topping for sassing up any basic veggie dish, salad, oatmeal, or dessert in a flash. But when you buy hazelnuts they usually come with those pesky skins still on them. Luckily, they’re easy (and fun) to remove. So check out… Continue Reading
