Healthy Hot Cocoa with Ginger and Collagen Protein

This is my go-to morning drink when I’m craving a latte but want less of a caffeine spike.
The raw cacao with fresh ginger, collagen protein, and sweetened with whole dates instead of sugar makes this a healthy sweet treat to enjoy on cold days — or any day!

RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
2oz almond or oat milk
1-2 pitted Medjool dates
1/2 inch of fresh ginger root
1 scoop of collagen protein powder
1 tbsp of raw cacao powder
6 oz hot water
METHOD
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until combined then strain into a cup to remove any fibrous pieces of ginger.
